Estrategias de afrontamiento y calidad de vida de los pacientes con tratamiento de hemodiálisis en un hospital de Huancayo, 2025

Abstract

Las enfermedades del riñón provocan cambios significativos en los pacientes, quienes ven afectada su salud no sólo a nivel físico, sino también mental y emocional; ante este panorama, muchas veces no saben cómo asumir estrategias de afrontamiento que les permita sobrellevar su situación y mejorar la calidad de vida, siendo necesaria la guía, orientación y apoyo de los profesionales de enfermería. OBJETIVO: Determinar cuál es la relación entre las estrategias de afrontamiento y la calidad de vida de los pacientes con hemodiálisis en un hospital de Huancayo, 2025. MATERIALES Y METODOS: La ruta metodológica que se empleara, incluye el enfoque cuantitativo, de tipo aplicada, diseño no experimental, corte transversal y alcance correlacional. Se contará con 80 pacientes nefrológicos como muestra, quienes se someterán a dos cuestionarios, el primero será el Brief COPE-28, con una confiabilidad de 0,90 y el segundo será el WHOQOL-BREF con 0,92; ambos coeficientes obtenidos mediante el Alfa de Cronbach.

Given this situation, they often do not know how to adopt coping strategies that allow them to cope with their situation and improve their quality of life, requiring the guidance, orientation, and support of nursing professionals. OBJECTIVE: To determine the relationship between coping strategies and the quality of life of hemodialysis patients in a hospital in Huancayo, 2025. MATERIALS AND METHODS: The methodological approach employed includes a quantitative, applied, non-experimental, cross sectional, and correlational design. The sample will consist of 80 nephrology patients who will complete two questionnaires: the Brief COPE-28, with a reliability of 0.90, and the second, the WHOQOL-BREF, with a reliability of 0.92; both coefficients were obtained using Cronbach's alpha.
