Introduction: The aging population in Latin America leads to an increase in the prevalence of geriatric syndromes, including falls and urinary incontinence, conditions that significantly affect the autonomy and quality of life of older adults. Falls represent one of the leading causes of morbidity and mortality in this population, while urinary incontinence negatively impacts physical, psychological, and social well-being. Objective: To determine the relationship between fall risk and quality of life in older adults with urinary incontinence at a hospital Iquitos, 2026. Material and Method: Validated and highly reliable instruments will be used, such as the Timed Up and Go (TUG) test to measure fall risk and the SF-36 questionnaire to assess quality of life. The study, with a descriptive correlational approach and a cross-sectional design, will include older adults aged 60 to 80 years diagnosed with urinary incontinence, insured at the institution. The clinical relevance of this research lies in that it will identify the degree of association between two underexplored geriatric syndromes together, providing evidence to optimize interventions in physical medicine and rehabilitation. The findings will contribute to the development of preventive strategies and comprehensive care programs aimed at reducing the incidence of falls, improving functionality, and promoting healthy aging in the adult population.
