Objetivo general: “Determinar la relación existente entre nivel de conocimiento y la aplicación de medidas de bioseguridad de enfermería en pacientes con ventilación mecánica, unidad de cuidados intensivos de un hospital de Chimbote, 2024”. Metodología: El tipo de estudio será hipotético-deductivo, el enfoque será cuantitativo, transversal, no experimental y de alcance correlacional. Por esta razón población estará conformada por 80 profesionales de enfermería de las áreas como trauma shock, centro quirúrgico, UCIN, UCI, que manejan pacientes críticos que requieren de un ventilador mecánico. Y para medir las dos variables, se empleará un primer instrumento nombrado nivel del conocimiento conformada por 3 dimensiones a través de un test o cuestionario y el segundo instrumento nombrado aplicación del conocimiento conformada por 3 dimensiones a través de una guía de observación. Se aplicará considerando los aspectos básicos de las dimensiones de las variables en estudio. Estos instrumentos fueron validados siendo sometidos por un coeficiente Alfa de Cronbach. Los resultados obtenidos del primer instrumento que han demostrados que tiene un valor de 0. 89, y el segundo instrumento tienen un valor de 0.84 lo que indica que ambos instrumentos tienen un grado de confiabilidad. Luego se hará uso de una herramienta con SPSS para ingresar los datos y procesarlos, toda la información será contenida en una matriz del instrumento antes mencionado. Y los hallazgos serán contrastados y discutidos de acuerdo con el contexto teórico y se presentarán en forma de tablas y gráficos estadísticos.
Resumen
General objective: "To determine the relationship between the level of knowledge and the application of nursing biosecurity measures in patients with mechanical ventilation, intensive care unit of a hospital in Chimbote, 2024". Methodology: The type of study will be hypothetical deductive, the approach will be quantitative, cross-sectional, non-experimental and correlational in scope. For this reason, the population will be made up of 80 nursing professionals from areas such as trauma shock, surgical center, NICU, ICU, who manage critical patients who require a mechanical ventilator. And to measure the two variables, a first instrument called level of knowledge will be used, made up of 3 dimensions through a test or questionnaire, and the second instrument called application of knowledge, made up of 3 dimensions through an observation guide. It will be applied considering the basic aspects of the dimensions of the variables under studyThese instruments were validated by being subjected to a Cronbach's alpha coefficient. The results obtained from the first instrument showed that it has a value of 0. 89, and the second instrument have a value of 0.84, which indicates that both instruments have a degree of reliability. Then a tool with SPSS will be used to enter the data and process them, all the information will be contained in a matrix of the aforementioned instrument. And the findings will be contrasted and discussed according to the theoretical context and will be presented in the form of statistical tables and graphs.
