Inteligencia emocional y estrés laboral del personal de salud de un centro de salud mental comunitario en Ancash, 2026

Abstract

El personal de salud mental enfrentará una alta carga emocional que derivará en estrés crónico, afectando su bienestar y desempeño. La inteligencia emocional surgirá como un factor protector clave para mitigar estos efectos negativos en el entorno asistencial. El objetivo general de la investigación será “determinar la relación entre inteligencia emocional y estrés laboral del personal de salud de un centro de salud mental comunitario en Santa, durante el 2026”. Para ello, se desarrollará un estudio de enfoque cuantitativo, tipo básico, nivel correlacional y diseño no experimental, transversal, con una población censal conformada por 20 profesionales de salud del centro comunitario. La recolección de datos se realizará mediante dos cuestionarios estructurados con escala tipo Likert de 25 ítems cada uno, validados por De los Ríos Pereyra en el 2023. La tabulación de los datos se efectuará en Microsoft Excel y el análisis estadístico se llevará a cabo mediante el software SPSS v.26, empleando estadística descriptiva e inferencial para la contrastación de hipótesis. Finalmente, la investigación se regirá por los principios de autonomía, beneficencia, no maleficencia y justicia, garantizados mediante la firma del consentimiento informado y la aprobación de un comité de ética.

Mental health personnel will face a high emotional burden that will lead to chronic stress, affecting their well-being and performance. Emotional intelligence will emerge as a key protective factor in mitigating these negative effects in the healthcare environment. The overall objective of the research will be to “determine the relationship between emotional intelligence and work-related stress among healthcare personnel at a community mental health center in Santa during 2026”. To this end, a quantitative study will be developed, using a basic, correlational, non-experimental, cross-sectional design, with a census population of 20 health professionals from the community center. Data collection will be carried out using two structured questionnaires with a Likert scale of 25 items each, validated by De los Ríos Pereyra in 2023. Data tabulation will be performed in Microsoft Excel, and statistical analysis will be carried out using SPSS v.26 software, employing descriptive and inferential statistics for hypothesis testing. Finally, the research will be governed by the principles of autonomy, beneficence, non-maleficence, and justice, guaranteed by the signing of informed consent and the approval of an ethics committee.
