Factores de riesgo asociados a infecciones oportunistas en pacientes adultos con diagnóstico de VIH/SIDA en el hospital nacional nivel III Lima Metropolitana 2024

Abstract

Objetivo: Determinar la relación que existe entre los Factores de Riesgo asociados a Infecciones Oportunistas en pacientes adultos con diagnóstico de VIH/SIDA en el Hospital Nacional Nivel III Lima Metropolitana 2024; Método: Hipotético deductivo, enfoque cuantitativo, investigación tipo básica, diseño no experimental, corte transversal, nivel o alcance descriptivo-correlacional, población 550 y muestra 227 casos del servicio de Infectología, técnica observacional y análisis documental; Resultados: En los factores domino el género masculino con 78%, la edad fue de 30 a 39 años con 37,4%, estado civil soltero con 70,9%, orientación heterosexual con 46,7%, parejas estables con 85%, buena adherencia con 92,1%, el 69,6% no abandono el tratamiento, tiempo de diagnóstico fue años con 97,4%, esquema actual fue 84,6% con Dolutegravir/Lamivudina/Tenofovir, recuento de linfocitos T fue 55,1% ≤ 100 células/mL, el 80,2% presento carga viral ≥4001 copias/mL, en infecciones oportunistas predomino el sistema respiratorio el 43,6% con tuberculosis pulmonar. En la prueba de hipótesis en los factores sociodemográficos predomino el sistema nervioso con instrucción primaria con 66,7%, en factores terapéuticos fue el sistema respiratorio en no adherencia con 77,8%, en factores clínicos fue el sistema respiratorio con 50,9% con recuento de linfocitos T ≥ 201 células/mL, presentan diferencias significativas, aceptando la hipótesis alterna, indicando relación de baja intensidad. Conclusiones: Si existe significativa relación entre los factores de riesgo y las infecciones oportunistas en pacientes adultos con diagnóstico de VIH/SIDA en el Hospital Nacional Nivel III Lima Metropolitana 2024.

Objective: To determine the relationship between risk factors associated with opportunistic infections in adult patients diagnosed with HIV/AIDS at the National Hospital Level III Metropolitan Lima 2025; Method: Hypothetical deductive, quantitative approach, basic research, non-experimental design, cross-sectional, descriptive-correlational level or scope, population 550 and sample 227 cases from the Infectiology service, observational technique and documentary analysis; Results: The factors were dominated by male gender with 78%, age was 30 to 39 years with 37.4%, marital status was single with 70.9%, heterosexual orientation with 46.7%, stable couples with 85%, good adherence with 92.1%, 69.6% did not abandon treatment, diagnosis time was years with 97.4%, current regimen was 84.6% with Dolutegravir / Lamivudine / Tenofovir, T lymphocyte count was 55.1% ≤ 100 cells / mL, 80.2% had a viral load ≥ 4001 copies / mL, in opportunistic infections the respiratory system predominated with 43.6% with pulmonary tuberculosis. In the hypothesis test, the nervous system predominated among sociodemographic factors with primary education (66.7%). Among therapeutic factors, the respiratory system predominated in non-adherence (77.8%). Among clinical factors, the respiratory system predominated in 50.9%, with a T lymphocyte count ≥ 201 cells/mL. These differences were significant, supporting the alternative hypothesis, indicating a low-intensity relationship. Conclusions: There is a significant relationship between risk factors and opportunistic infections in adult patients diagnosed with HIV/AIDS at the National Hospital Level III Lima Metropolitan 2024.
