El Facebook y el aprendizaje cooperativo significativo en estudiantes de una universidad privada de Lima, 2021

Abstract

Las redes sociales constituyen hoy en día un medio por el cual millones de personas se comunican e intercambian información; en el área educativa este uso se vio incrementado debido a la crisis sanitaria que se vivió a nivel mundial, sin embargo muchos estudiantes universitarios lo utilizaban como un medio de comunicación virtual y permanente; diferentes estudios indican que pocos conocen las ventaja que puede tener usar una red social como Facebook en pro del aprendizaje cooperativo, el mismo que fortalece y propicia la autonomía del estudiante y estimula competencias que todo profesional en formación debe poseer cuando egresa de las aulas universitarias; en ese sentido el objetivo del estudio fue determinar la relación entre el uso del Facebook y el aprendizaje cooperativo significativo en estudiantes de una universidad privada de Lima, 2021. Por ello la investigación fue de tipo aplicada, no experimental y de enfoque cuantitativo; en la cual se tomó como muestra a 80 universitarios de la carrera de Terapia Física y Rehabilitación; la técnica utilizada para recabar datos fueron dos cuestionarios adaptados de Zubieta (2013) y como resultado se encontró una relación significativa entre el uso del Facebook y el aprendizaje cooperativo. ya que el valor significancia fue de p = 0,000 < 0,05; además de un coeficiente de Spearman de 0,669, por lo que se concluye que existe relación positiva entre el uso del Facebook y el aprendizaje cooperativo.

Social networks are today a means by which millions of people communicate and exchange information; In the educational area, this use was increased due to the health crisis that was experienced worldwide, however many university students used it as a virtual and permanent means of communication, different studies indicate that few know the advantages that using a social network such as Facebook in favor of collaborative learning, the same one that strengthens and fosters the autonomy of the student and stimulates competences that all professionals in training must possess when they leave university classrooms; In this sense, the objective of the study was to determine the relationship between the use of Facebook and meaningful cooperative learning in students of a private university in Lima, 2021. For this reason, the research was of a basic type, not experimental and with a quantitative approach; in which 80 university students from the Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation career were taken as a sample; The technique used to collect data was two questionnaires adapted from Zubieta (2013) and as a result a significant relationship was found between the use of Facebook and cooperative learning. since the significance value was p = 0.000 <0.05; in addition to a Spearman coefficient of 0.669, therefore, it is concluded that there is a positive relationship between the use of Facebook and cooperative learning.
