Competencias ciudadanas y comportamiento socialmente responsable en estudiantes de administración policial de la Escuela General Santander, Bogotá Colombia, 2023

Abstract

Esta investigación tuvo como propósito determinar la relación que existe entre las competencias ciudadanas y el comportamiento socialmente responsable en los estudiantes de administración policial de la Escuela General Francisco de Paula Santander, Bogotá Colombia. El método que siguió el estudio fue el hipotético deductivo con el fin de explicar los resultados obtenidos frente a una serie de hipótesis planteadas, se adoptó un enfoque cuantitativo, diseño no experimental de corte transversal, de tipo aplicada y nivel correlacional, la muestra estuvo conformada por 119 estudiantes del último año de estudios a quienes se les aplicó un cuestionario de 29 preguntas para medir las competencias ciudadanas y otro de 25 preguntas para medir el comportamiento socialmente responsable. Se obtuvo como resultado que el p-valor fue < 0.05 y el Rho= 0.692 lo que indicó que existe una relación directa y considerable entre las competencias ciudadanas y el comportamiento socialmente responsable. Se concluyó que al desarrollarse favorablemente las competencias ciudadanas de los estudiantes su comportamiento socialmente responsable también mejorará.

This research aimed to determine the relationship between citizenship competencies and socially responsible behavior in police administration students at the General Francisco de Paula Santander School, Bogotá, Colombia. The method that followed the study was the hypothetical deductive in order to explain the results obtained against a series of hypotheses raised, a quantitative approach was adopted, nonexperimental design of cross-section, applied type and correlational level, The sample consisted of 119 students in the last year of studies to whom a questionnaire of 29 questions was applied to measure citizenship competencies and another of 25 questions to measure socially responsible behavior. As a result, the p-value was < 0.05 and the Rho= 0.692, which indicated that there is a direct and considerable relationship between citizenship competencies and socially responsible behavior. It was concluded that by developing favorably the citizenship skills of students, their socially responsible behavior will also improve.
