Conocimiento sobre cuidado integral y actitud del cuidador del paciente esquizofrénico, centro de salud mental comunitario, Ambo - 2024

Abstract

Durante mucho tiempo se ha observado que el estudio de los trastornos mentales y problemas psicosociales actuales, como la esquizofrenia tiene efectos negativos tanto para el paciente como para los cuidadores, debido a prejuicios como la estigmatización, la falta de conocimientos y algunas malas actitudes que toman no solo los cuidadores sino también la población en general. por ello el principal objetivo del presente proyecto de investigación consiste en “Determinar la relación entre el conocimiento sobre cuidado integral y actitud del cuidador del paciente esquizofrénico, centro de salud mental comunitario. Ambo – 2024”. El proyecto se desarrollará a través de la metodología hipotético deductivo, utilizando un enfoque cuantitativo, con un diseño no experimental y un nivel descriptivo correlacional, con corte transversal. La población al igual que la muestra del estudio estará conformada por un total de 100 cuidadores, de usuarios con diagnóstico esquizofrenia. El Método e instrumento de recogida de datos para este proyecto será un cuestionario para medir las actitudes evaluado mediante una escala de Likert, y otro cuestionario para medir el nivel de los conocimientos. Para resolver los resultados, analizaremos los datos de la muestra y el diseño en Excel utilizando el programa SPSS 25.0. De este modo, se combinarán los datos y se elaborarán tablas y gráficos que podrán interpretarse y conducirán a las conclusiones y recomendaciones del caso.

It has long been observed that the study of current mental disorders and psychosocial problems, such as schizophrenia, has negative effects on both the patient and the caregivers, due to prejudices such as stigmatization, lack of knowledge and some bad attitudes taken not only by caregivers but also by the general population. Therefore, the main objective of this research project is to "Determine the relationship between knowledge about comprehensive care and the attitude of the caregiver of the schizophrenic patient, community mental health center. The project will be developed through the hypothetical deductive methodology, using a quantitative approach, with a non-experimental design and a descriptive correlational level, with a cross-sectional section. The population as well as the study sample will be made up of a total of 100 caregivers of users diagnosed with schizophrenia. The method and instrument for collecting data for this project will be a questionnaire to measure attitudes evaluated using a Likert scale, and another questionnaire to measure the level of knowledge. To resolve the results, we will analyze the sample data and the design in Excel using the SPSS 25.0 program. In this way, the data will be combined and tables and graphs will be created that can be interpreted and will lead to the conclusions and recommendations of the case.
