Nivel de anemia ferropénica y desarrollo psicomotor en niños 2 a 5 años atendidos en un establecimiento de salud, Lima 2025

Abstract

Objetivo: La investigación planteada tiene como objetivo principal “Determinar la relación entre el Nivel de anemia ferropénica y desarrollo psicomotor en niños 2 a 5 años atendidos en un establecimiento de salud, Lima 2025”. Metodología: El estudio estará basado en un diseño observacional, no experimental, corte transversal; aplicará el método hipotético-deductivo, enfoque cuantitativo, alcance de tipo correlacional. La muestra del estudio estará conformada por 100 niños que acuden al consultorio de CRED. Instrumento: Se utilizarán dos instrumentos clave: “Ficha de Observación de Campo - Nivel de anemia ferropénica en niños menores de 5 años” y el Test de evaluación del desarrollo psicomotor TEPSI. El análisis estadístico se ejecutará a través del software SPSS v. 27, donde, en función de la distribución de los datos, se aplicarán técnicas estadísticas paramétricas o no paramétricas, como el coeficiente de correlación de Rho Spearman o la prueba de Pearson, para determinar la asociación entre las variables, validando de esta manera las hipótesis propuestas, y en suma, se observarán los principios de beneficencia, no maleficencia, justicia y respeto por las madres y sus niños, manteniendo la ética del estudio durante todo el periodo de obtención de la información.

Objective: The main objective of this research is to “Determine the relationship between the level of iron deficiency anemia and psychomotor development in children aged 2 to 5 years treated at a health facility in Lima in 2025”. Methodology: The study will be based on an observational, non-experimental, cross-sectional design; it will apply the hypothetical deductive method, a quantitative approach, and a correlational scope. The study sample will consist of 100 children who attend the CRED clinic. Instrument: Two key instruments will be used: the “Field Observation Form - Hemoglobin Level in Children Under 5 Years of Age” and the TEPSI test psicomotor. Statistical analysis will be performed using SPSS v. 27 software, where, depending on the distribution of the data, parametric or non-parametric statistical techniques will be applied, such as Spearman's Rho correlation coefficient or Pearson's test, to determine the association between the variables, thus validating the proposed hypotheses, in short, the principles of beneficence, non-maleficence, justice, and respect for mothers and their children will be observed, maintaining the ethics of the study throughout the period of data collection.
