Engagement y satisfacción laboral del personal de enfermería de un Hospital Policial en Lima, 2022

Abstract

The study of "Engagement and Job Satisfaction of the nursing staff of a police hospital in Lima, 2022" being the main objective: Determine the relationship between Engagement and Job Satisfaction. It is an Applied type of research, of Non-experimental design; Transversal or transectional cut; Correlational scope. The sample is made up of 220 nursing professionals from a Police Hospital in Lima. The technique used is the survey; the instruments that collected the informative data consisted of two questionnaires, already validated by other authors. The instruments were validated through expert judgment; For these variables, the reliability of the instruments was measured with Cronbach's alpha: 0.976 for Engagement and 0.812 for Job Satisfaction. The results show that: 42.7% of nurses find engagement at a low level; 75.9% of nurses have an unsatisfied level of job satisfaction. It is resolved that there is no significant relationship between Engagement and Job satisfaction of the nursing staff of a Police Hospital, with values of p= .560 (<0.05) and r = -0.040, which indicates that the relationship is inverse and almost null.

El estudio de “Engagement y Satisfacción Laboral del personal de enfermería de un hospital policial en Lima, 2022” siendo el objetivo principal: Determinar la relación entre Engagement y Satisfacción Laboral. Es una investigación de tipo Aplicada, de diseño No experimental; de corte Transversal o transeccional; de alcance Correlacional. La muestra está constituida por 220 profesionales de enfermería de un Hospital Policial en Lima. La técnica usada es la encuesta; los instrumentos que recolectaron la data informativa constaron de dos cuestionarios, ya validados por otros autores. Los instrumentos fueron validados mediante el juicio de expertos; para estas variables, la confiabilidad de instrumentos fue medida con alfa de Cronbach: 0.976 para Engagement y 0.812 para Satisfacción Laboral. Los Resultados muestran que: el 42.7% de los enfermeros se encuentran el engagement en nivel bajo; el 75.9 % de los enfermeros tienen un nivel insatisfecho en satisfacción Laboral. Se resuelve que, no existe relación significativa entre Engagement y satisfacción Laboral del personal de enfermería de un Hospital Policial, con valores de p= .560 (<0.05) y r = -0.040, que nos indica que la relación es inversa y casi nula.
