Perfil hematológico materno pre / postparto distócico y eutócico hospital III de ESSALUD Juliaca - 2025

Abstract

El embarazo y el parto generan adaptaciones fisiológicas importantes en el sistema hematológico materno, cuya magnitud puede variar según la vía de culminación del parto. El presente estudio tiene como objetivo determinar la variación del perfil hematológico materno pre y postparto según el tipo de parto distócico o eutócico en el Hospital III de EsSalud Juliaca durante el año 2025, en un contexto de gran altitud (3 825 m s. n. m.). Se desarrollará una investigación de enfoque cuantitativo, tipo básica, con diseño no experimental, transversal, descriptivocomparativo y retrospectivo. La muestra estará conformada por aproximadamente 300 mujeres atendidas por parto vaginal o cesárea entre agosto y diciembre de 2025, seleccionadas mediante muestreo censal. Se analizarán los parámetros del hemograma completo —serie roja, blanca y plaquetaria— obtenidos ≤48 horas antes del parto y entre 24–48 horas posteriores, a partir de historias clínicas y registros del laboratorio. Los datos serán procesados con SPSS, empleando estadística descriptiva e inferencial (prueba t de Student, p<0,05). Se espera identificar diferencias significativas en el perfil hematológico según la vía de parto, aportando evidencia local para optimizar el monitoreo hematológico en el puerperio inmediato y mejorar la toma de decisiones clínicas en poblaciones de altura.

Pregnancy and childbirth generate significant physiological adaptations in the maternal hematological system, the magnitude of which can vary depending on the delivery method. This study aims to determine the variation in the maternal hematological profile before and after delivery according to the type of delivery (dystocic or eutocic) at Hospital III of EsSalud Juliaca during 2025, in a high-altitude setting (3,825 m a.s.l.). A quantitative, basic, non-experimental, cross-sectional, descriptive-comparative, and retrospective study will be conducted. The sample will consist of approximately 300 women who underwent vaginal delivery or cesarean section between August and December 2025, selected through census sampling. The parameters of the complete blood count (CBC)—red blood cell, white blood cell, and platelet count—obtained ≤48 hours before delivery and between 24 and 48 hours postpartum will be analyzed from medical records and laboratory data. The data will be processed using SPSS, employing descriptive and inferential statistics (Student's t-test, p<0.05). The aim is to identify significant differences in the hematological profile according to the mode of delivery, providing local evidence to optimize hematological monitoring in the immediate postpartum period and improve clinical decision-making in high-altitude populations.
