Conocimiento materno sobre estimulación temprana y desarrollo psicomotor en niños menores de 1 año asistentes al consultorio de un hospital nacional-2025

Abstract

Introducción: La niñez es una fase fundamental para el desarrollo completo de las personas. A lo largo del primer año, los niños empiezan a investigar su entorno con mayor independencia, fortaleciendo sus habilidades sociales, lingüísticas, psicomotoras y cognitivas. La estimulación temprana contribuye a que se obtengan estas habilidades, fomentando un desarrollo completo y un crecimiento saludable. Objetivo: Determinar cuál es la relación existente entre el conocimiento de las madres en estimulación temprana con el desarrollo psicomotor en niños menores de 1 año que asisten al Consultorio de un Hospital Nacional. Métodos: será de índole cuantitativo, hipotético - deductivo, no experimental, transversal y correlacional. La población de 80 madres de niños menores de 1 año de edad, provenientes de diversos distritos. Los instrumentos constarán de un cuestionario y la Escala (EEDP), adaptados y validados en el contexto peruano por Falcón en el año 2023. Para la validez y confiablidad de la primera variable se empleó el juicio de 3 expertos con Aiken de V = 0.86, sumada a la prueba Alfa de Cronbach en una prueba piloto con 15 madres, logrando coeficiente 0.701, igualmente para la segunda variable, la ficha fue adaptada oficialmente por el MINSA y validada antes por expertos en psicomotricidad infantil, alcanzando un valor de 0.842, lo que indicó una aplicación confiable. Los datos por medio de un SPSS 26. Con el fin de determinar la correlación entre las capacidades de la madre y el desarrollo psicomotor del niño, se utilizará el coeficiente de correlación de Spearman.

Introduction: Childhood is a fundamental phase for the complete development of individuals. Throughout the first year, children begin to explore their environment with greater independence, strengthening their social, linguistic, psychomotor, and cognitive skills. Early stimulation contributes to the acquisition of these skills, fostering holistic development and healthy growth. Objective: To determine the relationship between mothers' knowledge of early stimulation and the psychomotor development of children under one year of age attending a National Hospital Clinic. Methods: This will be a quantitative, hypothetical-deductive, cross sectional, and correlational study. The population will consist of 80 mothers of children under one year of age from various districts. The instruments will consist of a questionnaire and the Early Childhood Development Scale (EEDP), adapted and validated in the Peruvian context by Falcón in 2023. For the validity and reliability of the questionnaire, the judgment of three experts was used, with an Aiken coefficient of 0.86, in addition to Cronbach's alpha in a pilot study with 15 mothers, yielding a coefficient of 0.701. Similarly, for the early childhood development scale, the questionnaire was officially adapted by the Ministry of Health (MINSA) and previously validated by experts in child psychomotor development, achieving a value of 0.842, indicating reliable application. Data were analyzed using SPSS version 26. To determine the correlation between the mother's abilities and the child's psychomotor development, Spearman's rank correlation coefficient will be used.
