Caregiver burden and adherence to treatment in patients with schizophrenia in the mental health department of the Edgardo Rebaglatti Martins Hospital, 2021

Abstract

Methodology: The deductive method and quantitative approach will be applied in the study, the type of study will correspond to the one applied and the design will be non-experimental, descriptive, and correlational. The representative sample of the study will be made up of 78 caregivers. Obtained according to the application of the probabilistic sample formula. Techniques and Data Collection Instrument: Regarding the data collection technique, the so-called survey will be applied, executed in a single moment, using the instruments called Zarit Caregiver Burden Scales and Thomson Medication Adherence, which present a Cronbach's Alpha equivalent to 0.860, and 0.871 respectively. Procedures: The collection of the data obtained will be carried out for a period of 02 months. Once the data is collected, it will be organized in the Excel program for quality control and corresponding organization; later it will be exported to the SPSS software version 26.0. Statistical Analysis: For the descriptive evaluation, frequency tables, central tendency and dispersion assessments, and graphical representations will be developed.

Metodología: en el estudio se aplicará el método deductivo, enfoque cuantitativo, el tipo de estudio corresponderá al aplicada y el diseño será no experimental, descriptivo, y correlacional. la muestra representativa del estudio estará conformada por 78 cuidadores. Obtenidos de acuerdo con la aplicación de la fórmula de la muestra probabilística. Técnicas e Instrumento de Relevamiento de Datos: en cuanto a la técnica de relevamiento de data, se aplicará la denominada encuesta, ejecutada en un solo momento, mediante los instrumentos denominados Escalas de Carga del Cuidador de Zarit y Adherencia a la Medicación de Thomson, los que presentan un Alpha de Cronbach equivalente a 0,860, y 0,871 respectivamente. Procedimientos: El relevamiento de la data obtenida se efectuará por un periodo de 02 meses. Una vez recogida la data, se organizará en el programa Excel para su control de calidad y organización correspondiente; posteriormente se exportará al software SPSS versión 26.0. Análisis Estadístico: Para la evaluación descriptiva se desarrollarán cuadros de frecuencia, valoraciones de tendencia central, y dispersión, y representaciones gráficas.
