Level of knowledge and attitudes about exclusive breastfeeding in primiparous mothers hospitalized in rooming-in at the Hospital Regional Materno Infantil El Carmen- Huancayo - 2022

Abstract

This research paper titled "Level of knowledge and attitudes about exclusive breastfeeding in primiparous mothers hospitalized in shared accommodation at the El Carmen Maternal and Child Teaching Regional Hospital - Huancayo – 2021" aims to: determine the relationship between knowledge and attitudes regarding exclusive breastfeeding in first-time mothers hospitalized in shared accommodation at the El Carmen Maternal and Child Teaching Regional Hospital - Huancayo – 2021. The study has a descriptive - cross-sectional design with a probabilistic sample of 140 mothers with inclusion criteria. The instrument was validated in Peru by the author Chuquichanca in 2018. The authors subjected the questionnaire to expert judgment, finding it to be applicable and valid. The result obtained by the Cronbach's alpha coefficient was 0.96%, indicating a high degree of reliability (p > 0.5) with a value of 0.865, making it reliable as it falls within the range of 0 and 1.

El presente trabajo de investigación intitulado “nivel de conocimiento y actitudes sobre la lactancia materna exclusiva en madres primíparas hospitalizadas en alojamiento conjunto en el hospital regional docente materno infantil el Carmen- Huancayo – 2021”, con la finalidad de: determinar la relación entre el conocimiento y actitudes acerca de la lactancia materna exclusiva en madres primerizas hospitalizadas en alojamiento conjunto del hospital docente materno infantil el Carmen- Huancayo – 2021. Con diseño descriptivo - transversal con una muestra probabilística de 140 madres con criterio de inclusión. El instrumento fue validado en el Perú por el autor Chuquichanca en el 2018, las autoras sometieron al cuestionario a juicio de expertos, encontrando un valor aplicativo y valido. muestra un valor obtenido por coeficiente Alfa de cron Bach, dando como resultado 0.96%, el cual revela un alto grado de confiabilidad (p>O.5) con un valor de 0.865. haciendo confiable por estar dentro del valor 0 y 1.
