Humanized care and satisfaction of the patient who surpassed the COVID-19 stage in the intensive care unit, in a Public Hospital in Lima, from July to December 2022

Abstract

The use of cutting-edge technology in the intensive care unit sometimes does not allow us to see the patient as a whole, leaving aside an important element such as human care. That is why in this research the objective will be established to determine the relationship between humanized care and satisfaction of the patient who overcame the covid-19 stage in the intensive care unit of a hospital in Lima - Peru, from July to December 2022. The The study is proposed from a quantitative approach, with a non-experimental, simple correlational cross-sectional design. The study population will be made up of a total of 62 patients confined in the ICU with a diagnosis of covid-19 who have passed the critical stage in 2022, selected through intentional sampling. The data collection technique and instrument will be the survey using the Perception Humanized Nursing Care Instrument (PCHE) and CARE Q Questionnaire questionnaires, which have been previously validated. The collected data will be emptied into the Excel database and then processed with the SPSS statistical program. The software will show the type of relationship that exists between the variables, and tables and figures will be represented.

El uso de la tecnología de punta en la unidad de cuidados intensivos en ocasiones no permite ver al paciente como un todo, dejando de lado un elemento importante como es el cuidado humano. Es por ello que en esta investigación se establecerá como objetivo Determinar la relación entre el cuidado humanizado y satisfacción del paciente que superó la etapa covid-19 en unidad de cuidados intensivos de un hospital de Lima – Perú, de julio a diciembre del 2022. El estudio se propone desde un de enfoque cuantitativo, con diseño no experimental, transversal correlacional simple. La población del estudio estará conformada por un total de 62 pacientes recluidos en la UCI con diagnóstico de covid-19 que han superado la etapa crítica en el 2022, seleccionados mediante un muestreo intencional. La Técnica e instrumento de recolección de datos será la encuesta utilizando los cuestionarios Instrumento Percepción Cuidado Humanizado de Enfermería (PCHE) y Cuestionario CARE Q, que ha sido validados previamente. Los datos recolectados serán vaciados en la base de datos de Excel y luego se procesará con el programa estadístico SPSS. El software arrojará el tipo de relación que existen entre las variables, y se representará tablas y figuras.
