Stress coping strategies in adolescents attending the growth and development clinic at a healthcare service provider institution Lima, 2022

Abstract

Objective: Determine the stress coping strategies used by adolescents who attend the Growth and Development clinic in an Institution providing health services Lima, 2022. Material and method: The research responds to the ductive, deductive and analytical method, it has a focus quantitative, it is applied, descriptive, the population that constitutes it makes a total of 200 adolescents who attend the growth and development clinic of a health care institution, Lima, from this a sample of 132, the survey technique was used and the instrument is the Likert scale, which describes the presentation, instructions, sociodemographic characteristics and the questionnaire called “Scale of coping styles and strategies of Frydenberg and Lewis (1993) version of Beatriz Canessa (2002)”, the items of the instrument have acceptable validity and reliability ratings. The data processing was done using the Statistical Package for the Social Sciences (SPSS) version 22.0, Excel for Windows 2016 was also used to extract the data according to a matrix structured as a database in relation to the instrument. measurement.

Objetivo: Determinar las estrategias de afrontamiento al estrés utilizados por los adolescentes que acuden al consultorio de Crecimiento y Desarrollo en una Institución prestadora de servicios de salud Lima, 2022. Material y método: La investigación responde al método ductivo, deductivo y analítico, tiene enfoque cuantitativo, es aplicada, descriptiva, la población que lo constituye hacen un total de 200 adolescentes que acuden al consultorio de crecimiento y desarrollo de una institución prestadora de salud, Lima, de esto se obtuvo una muestra de 132, se utilizó la técnica de la encuesta y el instrumento es la escala de Likert, la que describe la presentación, instrucciones, características sociodemográficas y el cuestionario denominado “Escala de estilos y estrategias de afrontamiento de Frydenberg y Lewis (1993) versión de Beatriz Canessa (2002)”, los ítems del instrumento tienen calificaciones aceptables validez y confiabilidad. El procesamiento de datos se hizo haciendo uso del paquete estadístico para las ciencias sociales (SPSS) versión 22.0, asimismo se hizo uso del Excel para Windows 2016 en el vaciado de datos de acuerdo a una matriz estructurada como base de datos en relación al instrumento de medición.
