Micronutrient supplementation and anemia prevention in children under 2 years of age treated at the Laura Esther Rodríguez Dulanto hospital in Supe, 2022.

Abstract

Objective: To determine the relationship between micronutrient supplementation and anemia prevention in children under 2 years of age. Material and method: The research responds to the deductive method and has a quantitative, basic, correlational approach, the population is made up of a total of 300 outpatient children who enter the Growth and Development service of the Supe Hospital, during the period from January to May 2022, whose sample is equal to 169 children; the survey technique was used and the instrument was the questionnaires on the Likert scale, both instruments have content validity through expert judgment and present Cronbach's Alpha reliabilities equal to 0.834 and 0.818 of the micronutrient supplementation instrument and the prevention of anemia respectively. Data processing will be done using statistical techniques supported by the statistical software SPSS v.26 on the database that will be designed in Excel.

Objetivo: Determinar la relación entre la suplementación de micronutrientes y prevención de anemia en niños menores de 2 años. Material y método: la investigación responde al método deductivo y tiene un enfoque cuantitativo, de tipo básica, correlacional, la población está constituida por un total de 300 niños (as) de consulta externa que ingresan al servicio de Crecimiento y Desarrollo del Hospital de Supe, durante el periodo de enero a mayo del 2022, cuya muestra es igual a 169 niños; se utilizó la técnica de la encuesta y el instrumento fueron los cuestionarios en la escala de Likert, ambos instrumentos cuentan con validez de contenido mediante juicio de expertos y presenta confiabilidades Alfa de Cronbach igual a 0.834 y 0.818 del instrumento de suplementación de micronutrientes y de la prevención de anemia respectivamente. El procesamiento de datos se hará haciendo uso de las técnicas estadísticas apoyadas por el software estadístico SPSS v.26 sobre la base de datos que se diseñará en Excel.
