Nutritional status of children aged 0 to 12 months and its relationship with anemia attending the CRED clinic at the Campoy Health Center, Lima

Abstract

Objective: Establish the degree of relationship between the Nutritional Status of children aged 0-12 months and anemia who attend the Cred clinic at the Campoy Health Center, Lima. Material and methods: The methodological approach used was Descriptive. The population considered was 260 mothers with children aged 0-12 months in the Cred office of the Campoy Health Center in SJL. The sample we took into account was chosen under the criteria of representativeness and group management, which amounted to a total of 80 children aged 0-12 months, which is equivalent to 30% of the total population. The Checklist instrument was used (measures Nutritional Status) and Documentary Analysis Form (collects data on the Anemia variable).

Objetivo: Establecer el grado de relacion entre el Estado Nutricional de niños de 0-12 meses y la anemia que acuden al consultorio Cred en el Centro de Salud Campoy, Lima. Material y métodos: El enfoque metodológico utilizado fue de tipo Descriptivo. La poblacion que se considero fue de 260 madrescon niños de 0-12 meses en el consultorio de Cred del cento de Salud de Campoy en SJL, La muestra que tuvimosen cuenta fue elegida bajo los criterios de representatividad y manejo de grupos, lo cual ascendio a un total de 80 niños de 0-12 meses de edad, lo cual equivale a un 30 % de la poblacion total. Se utilizó el instrumento de Lista de Cotejo (mide el Estado Nutricional) y Ficha de Analisis Documental (recopila datos de la variable Anemia).
