Ergonomic risks and their relationship with musculoskeletal disorders in nursing staff in the operating room of the Uldarico Rocca Fernández Hospital, 2023

Abstract

Objective: To analyze how the ergonomic risks and musculoskeletal disorders in the nursing staff in the operating room of the Hospital, 2023. Material and Method: it has a quantitative approach, descriptive type, the population was 80 nursing professionals, 2 instruments were used, for the ergonomic risks variable it was a questionnaire, prepared by the MINSA in 2005 and validated by the Peruvian researcher Lic. Nora Melgar Vilca statistically resulting in DPP, the same one that gave DPP=3.07 and a reliability with Cronbach's Alpha and obtained α=0.99, having 4 dimensions and 16 items with 3 Likert scale alternatives. For the musculoskeletal disorder variable, the questionnaire developed by Bach was used. Rosa Santamaria Ynoñan, with a qualitative validation of acceptable in 80% and reliability through Cronbach's Alpha and obtained α=0.909, having 5 dimensions and 24 items with Likert scale-type alternatives. The results: 2.5% present a low level in terms of ergonomic risks; 46.3% present a moderate level, while 51.2% show a severe level; Regarding the musculoskeletal disorders variable, 16.3% present a low level, 42.5% moderate, while 41.3% show a severe level in sick personnel in the operating room of the Hospital, 2023. Conclusions: there is a statistically significant relationship between ergonomic risks and musculoskeletal disorders, with a Spearman coefficient of 0.710 and a significance of 0.000 < 0. .05, therefore, the null hypothesis is rejected in favor of the alternate hypothesis.

Objetivo: Analizar de qué manera los riesgos ergonómicos se relacionan con los trastornos musculoesqueléticos en el personal enfermero en sala de operaciones del hospital Uldarico Rocca Fernández, 2023. Material y Método: corresponde al enfoque cuantitativo, tipo descriptivo, cuya población la conformaron 80 profesionales de enfermería , se utilizaron 2 instrumentos, siendo el cuestionario uno de ellos para medir los riesgos ergonómicos, elaborado por el MINSA en el año 2005 y validado por la investigadora peruana Lic. Nora Melgar Vilca dando como resultado estadísticamente DPP, el mismo que dio DPP=3.07 y una confiabilidad α=0.99, teniendo 4 dimensiones y 16 ítems tipo escala de Likert. Para la variable trastorno muscuesqueléticos, se usó el cuestionario elaborado por la Bach. Rosa Santamaria Ynoñan, con una validación cualitativa de aceptable en 80% y una confiabilidad de α=0.909, teniendo 5 dimensiones y 24 ítems con alterativas tipo escala de Likert. Los resultados: el 2.5% presentan un nivel bajo en cuanto a riesgos ergonómicos; 46.3% presentan un nivel moderado, mientras que 51.2% evidencian un nivel severo; respeto a la variable trastornos musculoesqueléticos, el 16.3% presentan un nivel bajo, 42.5% moderado, mientras que 41.3% evidencian un nivel severo en el personal enfermero de la sala de operaciones del Hospital Uldarico Rocca Fernández, 2023. Conclusiones: hay relación estadísticamente significativa de los riesgos ergonómicos con los trastornos musculoesqueléticos, siendo el coeficiente Spearman 0.710 y la significancia de 0.0000 < 0.05, que indica que, se rechaza la hipótesis nula en favor de la hipótesis alterna.
