Burnout syndrome and work performance in nurses of the intensive care unit of the Edgardo Rebagliati Martins hospital, Lima 2023

Abstract

Objective: Determine the relationship between burnout and job performance in nurses from the Intensive Care Unit of the National Heart Institute, Lima 2023. Method: The population will be made up of 80 nurses who work in the ICU of the hospital establishment. In relation to the method, it is a correlational study. The survey technique will be applied and for the measurement of variables, 2 questionnaires will be applied, one for “burnout” and the other for “job performance”. Once the data is available, it will be analyzed using the SPSS 27 statistical program. To evaluate the hypotheses, the Spearman Rho test will be used.

Determinar relación entre Síndrome Burnout y desempeño laboral en enfermeros de la Unidad de Cuidados Intensivos del hospital Edgardo Rebagliati Martins, Lima 2023. Método: La población estará conformada por 80 enfermeros que laboran en la UCI del establecimiento hospitalario. En relación al método, es un estudio correlacional. Se aplicará la técnica de encuesta y para la medición de variables serán aplicados 2 cuestionarios uno para “síndrome Burnout” y otro para “desempeño laboral”. Una vez que se cuente con los datos, estos serán analizados por medio del programa estadístico SPSS 27. Para valorar las hipótesis, se hará uso de la prueba Rho de Spearman.
