Health beliefs and practices in infant care in mothers in a health center, Ate 2023

Abstract

Introduction: Infant mortality is an indicator of serious problems in infant care actions, where health beliefs set a cultural structure of behavior, and the practices of mothers, it is expected that they will fulfill tasks concerning the acceptance, innovation or strengthening of routines. and guidelines in their homes. Objective: to determine the relationship between health beliefs and infant care practices in mothers in a health center, ate 2022. Methods: applied, quantitative, cross sectional, observational, non-experimental research. It will consist of 80 mothers as a sample, who have children from 6 months to 1 year, and who attend the El Bosque Health Center. The survey will be used to apply a questionnaire of nominal dichotomous nature and another of 23 items with four nominal options to the target group, being approved and confident in being quantifiable to the variables. Each report will be analyzed in SPSS 26 and hypotheses will be addressed using Cronbach's Alpha correlation factor statistical analysis.

Introducción: la Mortalidad infantil es indicador de grave problemática en las acciones de cuidado de los lactantes, donde las creencias en salud fijan una estructura cultural de conducta, y las prácticas de las madres, se espera cumplirán labores concernientes a la aceptación, innovación o fortalecimiento de rutinas y directrices en sus hogares. Objetivo: Determinar la relación que existe entre las creencias en salud y prácticas en el cuidado del lactante en madres en un Centro de Salud, Ate 2023. Métodos: investigación aplicada, cuantitativa, de corte transversal, observacional, no experimental. Constará de 80 madres como muestra, que cumplan el tener niños de 6 meses a 1 año, y que asisten al Centro de Salud El Bosque. Se usará la encuesta aplicando cuestionarios de naturaleza dicotómica nominal y de 23 ítems con opciones nominales al grupo, hallándose aprobados y confiados en ser cuantificables a las variables. Cada informe será analizado en SPSS 26 y las hipótesis se tratarán empleando el análisis estadístico del factor de correlación Alfa de Cronbach
