Abstract

Exclusive breastfeeding (EBF) has multiple essential benefits that humans receive from the first day of life to 6 months, it contains nutrients that guarantee adequate development and can be prolonged up to 2 years. Currently, women are inserted into the labor field and many of them in the pregnancy stage, likewise, have been on leave in recent months and after giving birth they only have a few months to stay with the baby since they are forced to return to work, which is why they abandon the breastfeeding exclusive. Likewise, its objective is to “Determine the relationship between the level of knowledge and practice on breastfeeding in first-pregnancy mothers in the shared accommodation service of a public hospital in Lima, 2022.” The research method is hypothetical-deductive, the type is applied, the design is correlational, non-experimental and cross-sectional. No statistical formula will be applied to the sample since all first-time mothers will be included. The type of sampling will be snowball, because it is unknown exactly how many first-time mothers there are and they will be selected according to appearances. Likewise, for the statistical analysis it will be through a statistical table of the Excel program and then to SPSS version 26. La lactancia materna exclusiva (LME) tiene múltiples beneficios esenciales que recibe el ser humano desde el primer día de vida hasta los 6 meses, contiene nutrientes que garantiza un adecuado desarrollo y se puede prolongar hasta los 2 años En la actualidad las mujeres se insertan en el campo laboral y muchas de ellas en etapa de gestación, asimismo, gozan de licencia en los últimos meses y tras el parto solo tienen pocos meses para permanecer junto al bebe ya que se ven obligadas a retornar al trabajo, motivo por el cual abandonan la lactancia materna exclusiva. Asimismo, tiene como objetivo “Determinar la relación entre el nivel de conocimientos y la práctica sobre lactancia materna en madres primigestas del servicio de alojamiento conjunto de un hospital público de Lima, 2022”. El método de investigación es hipotético deductivo, el tipo aplicada, el diseño correlacional, no experimental y de corte trasversal. Para la muestra no se aplicará formula estadística ya que se incluirá a todas las madres primigestas. El tipo de muestreo será en bola de nieve, porque se desconoce con exactitud cuántas madres primigestas hay y se les ira seleccionado de acuerdo a las apariciones.
