Burnout syndrome and job satisfaction in nursing professionals of the surgery service in a hospital in Lima-2023

Abstract

Burnout syndrome is a chronic disease, it leads nursing professionals to generalized exhaustion and is the main cause of low level of job satisfaction. Hospitals must generate strategies, healthy habits and evaluate periodically. General objective: Determine the relationship between Burnout Syndrome and job satisfaction in nursing professionals of the surgery service in a Hospital in Lima 2023. Materials and Methods: The study was based on a hypothetical deductive, quantitative, correlational, applied method, not experimental and transversal. The proposed method will allow obtaining desired results through hypotheses. The validation of both instruments was applied and validated by Quevedo, to calculate validity, the questionnaire was submitted to expert judgment with values of 0.89 variable 1 and 0.852 variable 2. For the reliability of the instrument, the internal consistency method was determined. of Cronbach's Alpha Coefficient, the values ranged α = 0.87 variable 1 and α = 0.75 variable 2. Excel and (SPSS) version 23.0 will be used for calculations and statistical analysis of data. The analysis and interpretation of data will be carried out using tables and graphs. Spearman's Rho will be used to calculate the relationship between the two significant variables.

El síndrome de Burnout es una enfermedad crónica, conduce al profesional de enfermería hacia agotamiento generalizado y principal causa de bajo nivel de satisfacción laboral. Los hospitales deben generar estrategias, hábitos saludables y evaluar periódicamente. Objetivo general: Determinar la relación entre el Síndrome de Burnout y la satisfacción laboral en profesionales de enfermería del servicio de cirugía en un Hospital de Lima 2023. Materiales y Métodos: El estudio se basó en método hipotético deductivo, cuantitativo, correlacional, aplicada, no experimental y transversal. El método planteado permitirá obtener resultados deseados a través de hipótesis. La validación de ambos instrumentos fue aplicado y validado por Quevedo, para el cálculo de la validez, el cuestionario fue sometido a juicio de expertos con valores de 0.89 variable 1 y 0.852 variable 2. Para la confiabilidad del instrumento se determinó el método de consistencia interna del Coeficiente Alfa de Cronbach, los valores oscilaron α = 0.87 variable 1 y α = 0.75 variable 2. Para los cálculos y análisis estadístico de datos se utilizarán Excel y (SPSS) versión 23.0. El análisis e interpretación de datos se realizarán mediante tablas y gráficos, para calcular la relación de las dos variables significativas se utilizará la Rho de Spearman.
