Level of knowledge about the autoclave sterilization process and the application of nursing staff in the sterilization center of the EsSalud National Hospital Chiclayo - 2023

Abstract

The general objective of the research project will be: Determine the relationship between the level of knowledge about the autoclave sterilization process and the application of the nursing staff in the sterilization center of the national hospital EsSalud Chiclayo-2023. The population made up of 22 nurses (100%) workers at the Sterilization Center. Hypothetical deductive study method applied through research design with quantitative correlational non-experimental cross-sectional design approach. To collect the data, the survey will be used as a technique; as an instrument the “Level of knowledge questionnaire about the autoclave sterilization process” prepared by Villanueva Soplìn, Marylu in 2020, through reliability analysis using the Splith Halves coefficient method, reaching a reliability value of (Rip 0.83) , strong reliability, and for “Nursing staff application of the Autoclave Sterilization Method" adapted from Quispe Saavedra, Mercedes in 2020, KR 0.757 reliable, for the processing and subsequent analysis of the data is collected and tabulated in Excel, transferred to the SPSS statistical program, for the preparation of tables, using the Pearson r method, responding to what was stated in the objectives.

El proyecto de investigación tendrá como objetivo general: Determinar la relación que existe el nivel de conocimiento sobre el proceso de esterilización por autoclave y la aplicación del personal de enfermería en la central de esterilización del hospital nacional EsSalud Chiclayo-2023. La población conformada por 22 enfermeras(os) (100%) trabajadores de Central de Esterilización. Método de estudio hipotético deductivo de tipo aplicada a través del diseño de investigación con enfoque cuantitativo correlacional tipo no experimental diseño transversal. Para la recopilación de los datos se utilizará como técnica la encuesta; como instrumento el “Cuestionario de Nivel de conocimiento sobre el proceso de esterilización por autoclave” elaborado por Villanueva Soplìn, Marylu en el 2020, por mediante del análisis de confiabilidad utilizando el coeficiente método Splith Halves, alcanzando un valor de confiabilidad de (Rip 0.83), fuerte confiabilidad , y para “Aplicación del personal de Enfermería del Método de Esterilizacion en Autoclave“ adaptado de Quispe Saavedra, Mercedes en el 2020 , KR 0.757 confiable, para el procesamiento y posterior análisis de los datos se recolectada y tabulados en Excel, trasladados al programa estadístico SPSS, para la elaboración de tablas, utilizando el método de Pearson r respondiendo a lo planteado en los objetivos.
