Burnout Syndrome and Quality of Nursing records in the Care Service in a Police hospital in Lima - Peru 2022

Abstract

The investigation will arise because the personnel who work in the ICU could be suffering from burnout syndrome and it will be affecting their development and therefore their work will be affected in the quality of the records, which is why the study will be carried out. Objective: “To determine the relationship between burnout syndrome and the quality of nursing records in the intensive care service in a police hospital in Lima – Peru, 2022”, where two instruments will be applied: the “Maslach Burnout Inventory” questionnaire (MBI)” and the checklist for “registration quality”. For Burnout syndrome the technique will be the survey and the instrument will be the MBI and for the quality of the records the technique will be observation and the instrument will be the checklist. Material and method: The study will be a quantitative approach, with a non-experimental, descriptive, correlational, cross-sectional design, in a population of 150 nurses. Both instruments are valid and reliable for their respective application and subsequent processing, which will be carried out in the respective statistical programs where the correlational results can be obtained through the chi square test.

La investigación surgirá a razón que el personal que labora en las UCI podría estar padeciendo de síndrome de burnout y estará afectando su desenvolvimiento y por ende se verá afectado su trabajo en la calidad de los registros, por ello se realizará el estudio. Objetivo: “Determinar cuál es la relación del síndrome de burnout y calidad de los registros de enfermería en el servicio de cuidados intensivos en un hospital policial de Lima – Perú, 2022”, donde se aplicará dos instrumentos: el cuestionario de “Maslach Burnout Inventory (MBI)” y la lista de cotejo para la “calidad de registro”. Para el síndrome de Burnout la técnica será la encuesta y el instrumento será el MBI y para la calidad de los registros la técnica será la observación y el instrumento la lista de cotejo. Material y método: El estudio será enfoque cuantitativo, de diseño no experimental, descriptivo, correlacional, de corte transversal, en una población de 150 enfermeros(as), Ambos instrumentos son válidos y confiables para su respectiva aplicación y posterior procesamiento, el cual será realizado en los programas estadísticos respectivos en donde se podrán obtener los resultados correlacionales por medio de la prueba chi cuadrado.
