Level of knowledge and its relationship with the application of biosafety measures of nursing staff in the care of patients with positive serology in a private institution, Lima - 2023

Abstract

In the presentation of the following work, the General Objective was: To analyze the relationship between the level of knowledge and the application of biosafety measures of nursing personnel in the care of patients with positive serology at the Good Hope Clinic, Lima2023. Materials and Methods: Hypothetical-deductive, non-experimental, quantitative, cross-sectional, applied and correlational research. Population: 80 nursing professionals of the Good Hope Clinic, Lima, Peru. Where the two study variables will be operated with the survey and observation technique and as an instrument a questionnaire and a checklist, respectively. Instruments adapted and applied by Sanchez in the year 2023. The validity of the first variable was determined by the opinions of three experts, with a validity of 96.3%, and the validity of the second variable was determined by five expert judges, with values less than p=0.05. Regarding reliability, a Cronbach's alpha coefficient of 0.767 and 0.827, respectively, was found for the first and second variables, respectively. After data collection, the data will be analyzed using Spearman's correlation test (Rho) and the SPSS program, the results of which will be shown in tables and/or figures.

En la presentación del siguiente trabajo se ha trazado como Objetivo general: Analizar la relación del nivel de conocimiento con la aplicación de las medidas de bioseguridad del personal de enfermería en atención de pacientes con serología positiva en una Clínica privada, Lima-2023. Materiales y Métodos: Investigación hipotética-deductiva, no experimental, cuantitativa, transversal, aplicada y correlacional. Población se considera como sujeto estudio a 80 profesionales de enfermaría de una Clínica privada, Lima Perú. Donde se estarán operando las dos variables de estudio con la técnica de encuesta y observación y como instrumento un cuestionario y una lista de cotejo, respectivamente. Instrumentos adaptados y aplicados por Sánchez en el año 2023. La validez de la primera variable fue determinada por las opiniones de tres expertos, con una validez del 96,3%, y la validez de la segunda variable fue determinada por cinco jueces expertos, con valores inferiores a p=0,05. En cuanto a la confiabilidad, se halló un coeficiente alfa de Cronbach de 0,767 y 0,827, respectivamente, para la primera y la segunda variable, respectivamente. Tras la recogida de datos, éstos se analizarán mediante la prueba de correlación de Spearman (Rho) y el programa SPSS, cuyos resultados se mostrarán en tablas y/o figuras.
