Quality of nursing care and satisfaction of post-operative patients in the surgery service of the Regional Hospital of Cerro de Pasco, 2023

Abstract

In addition to being a crucial aspect of what nurses do, care delivery has a major impact on patient satisfaction and is a good indicator of how well health services are functioning. Therefore, it is crucial to know the satisfaction of post-operative patients, as well as the quality of care provided by nurses, as these data will allow us to address weaknesses and build on our strengths to develop a functioning healthcare system that can deliver the high quality care that patients demand. The aim of the study will be to establish the relationship of quality of nursing care and satisfaction of post-operative patients in the surgical service. The study is quantitative, applied and will use a non-experimental, correlational-transectional design. The sample will be made up of 80 postoperative patients. Two Likert-type questionnaires will be used for data collection. After contrasting the hypotheses by means of Spearman's correlation coefficient, the results will be shown in figures and/or tables for subsequent analysis and discussion.

Además de ser un aspecto crucial de lo que hacen los enfermeros, la prestación de cuidados tiene un gran impacto en la satisfacción de los pacientes y es un buen indicador de lo bien que funcionan los servicios de salud. Por lo tanto, es crucial conocer la satisfacción de los pacientes post operados, así como la calidad del cuidado prestados por los enfermeros, ya que estos datos nos permitirán abordar los puntos débiles y aprovechar nuestros puntos fuertes para desarrollar un sistema sanitario que funcione y pueda prestar los cuidados de alta calidad que demandan los pacientes. El objetivo del estudio será establecer la relación de la calidad del cuidado enfermero y la satisfacción de los pacientes post operados del servicio de cirugía. Estudio cuantitativo, tipo aplicada y utilizará diseño no experimental, correlacional - transeccional. La muestra estará constituida por 80 pacientes post operados. En la recolección de datos se utilizarán 2 cuestionarios tipo likert. Tras contrastar las hipótesis mediante el coeficiente de correlación de Spearman, los resultados se mostrarán en figuras y/o tablas para su posterior análisis y discusión.
