Work Stress and its relationship with the performance of workers in the Santa fishing company - 2023

Abstract

Work stress is a difficulty that company workers go through due to circumstances linked to stress in the workplace and is related to poor performance and production in the company, and if the causes are known, good production would be achieved. The objective is to determine the relationship between work stress and the performance of workers in the Santa-2023 fishing company. The study is of an applied type, hypothetical-deductive method, quantitative approach and comparative design. The population will be comprised of 250 employees of the Santa-2023 fishing company. The survey was used to measure the respective variables and the questionnaire, whose reliability was determined through Cronbach's Alpha, applied to 102 people who constituted the pilot test of the sample, corresponding to a Cronbach of 0.885 for the variable work stress and 0.885 for performance, agreeing that the instrument is reliable. The collected data will be processed using SPSS software (v.25.0) and the hypotheses are tested using Spearman's Rho coefficient.

El estrés laboral es una dificultad que atraviesan los trabajadores de la empresa debido a circunstancias vinculadas al estrés en el lugar de trabajo y se relaciona al bajo desempeño y producción en la empresa, y si se logra conocer las causas se lograría una buena producción. El Objetivo es determinar la relación de estrés laboral con el desempeño de los trabajadores en la empresa pesquera Santa-2023. El estudio es de tipo aplicada, método hipotético –deductivo, enfoque cuantitativo y diseño comparativo. La población estará comprendida por 250 empleados de la empresa pesquera Santa 2023. Se hizo uso de la encuesta para medir las variables respectivas y el cuestionario, cuya confiabilidad se determinó por medio del Alfa de Cronbach, aplicado a 102 personas que constituyeron la prueba piloto de la muestra, correspondiendo un Cronbach de 0.885 para la variable estrés laboral y 0.885 para desempeño, consintiendo que el instrumento es confiable. Los datos recopilados se procesarán con el software SPSS (v.25.0) y las hipótesis se prueban utilizando el coeficiente Rho de Spearman.
