Level of knowledge of breastfeeding and attitudes of pregnant mothers attending the Ambo Health Center - 2023

Abstract

General objective: To establish the relationship between the level of knowledge of breastfeeding and the attitude of pregnant mothers who attend the Huánuco health center in 2o23. Methodology: The research will be quantitative and will use the hypothetical-deductive method, the type of research will be applied, the design will be non-experimental, the cross-section will be cross-sectional and the level will be correlational. As for the population, 90 pregnant mothers who attend the health center in Huánuco, Peru, will be taken into account. With respect to instrument 1 Breastfeeding Questionnaire, the technique to be used will be the survey and as for the instrument, the questionnaire will be used, which has a reliability coefficient of 0.76 from Kuder Richardson (KR20). And in Instrument 2, Likert Scale on the Attitude of Pregnant Mothers about Breastfeeding, the technique to be used will be Observation and as for the instrument, the Likert Scale will be used, which has a coefficient of 0.706 of Cronbach's Alpha, the results will be tabulated to elaborate the necessary statistics and, If necessary, they will be interpreted using tables and figures. Finally, the degree of relationship between both variables will be evaluated using Spearman's coefficient, which will respond to the proposed objective.

Objetivo general: Establecer la relación entre el nivel de conocimiento de la lactancia materna y la actitud de las madres gestantes que acuden al centro de salud de la región Huánuco, Perú en el año 2023. Metodología: La investigación será cuantitativa y empleará el método hipotético-deductivo, el tipo de investigación será aplicada, el diseño será no experimental, el corte será transversal y el nivel será correlacional. En cuanto a la población, se tomará en cuenta a 90 madres gestantes que acuden al centro de salud de Huánuco, Perú. Con respecto al instrumento 1 Cuestionario sobre la lactancia materna, la técnica a utilizar será la encuesta y en cuanto al instrumento se empleará el cuestionario que cuenta con un coeficiente de confiabilidad de 0.76 de Kuder Richardson (KR20). Y en el Instrumento 2, Escala de Likert sobre la Actitud de las Madres Gestantes sobre la lactancia Materna la técnica a utilizar será la Observación, en cuanto al instrumento se empleará la Escala de Likert que cuenta con un coeficiente 0.76, los resultados se tabularán para elaborar las estadísticas necesarias y, en caso necesario, se interpretarán mediante tablas y figuras. Finalmente, se evaluará el grado de relación entre ambas variables mediante el coeficiente de Spearman, que dará respuesta al objetivo planteado.
