Work overload related to stress in the Nursing staff in times of Covid19 at the Dos de Mayo National Hospital Lima 2022

Abstract

Introduction: work overload and stress continue to increasingly affect the health of the working population worldwide and is becoming more noticeable in health personnel, which is why it is important to learn how it manifests and cope with it. Objective: Determine how work overload is related to stress in nursing staff in times of covid19 at the Dos de Mayo National Hospital Lima 2022. Materials and methods: The type of research is an applied, non-experimental quantitative, cross-sectional, correlational approach. The population will be finite and will consist of 80 people who are part of the nursing staff who work in the internal medicine hospitalization services of the Dos de Mayo national hospital Lima 2022. The data collection technique to be used will be the survey and will be applied 2 validated instruments to collect the information that will respond to the stated hypotheses, quantitative measurements and statistical analyzes will be made to determine the predictions of the problems raised. Research conduct in line with ethical principles will be maintained throughout the study.

Introducción: la sobrecarga y el estrés laboral siguen afectando cada vez más la salud de la población trabajadora a nivel mundial y se hace más notorio en el personal de salud, por ello es importante aprender cómo se manifiesta y sobrellevarlo. Objetivo: Determinar cómo se relaciona la sobrecarga laboral al estrés en el personal de enfermería en tiempos de covid19 del Hospital Nacional Dos de Mayo Lima 2022. Materiales y métodos: El tipo de investigación es aplicada de enfoque cuantitativo no experimental de corte transversal correlacional. La población será finita y estará constituida por 80 personas que son parte del personal de enfermería que trabajan en los servicios de hospitalización de Medicina interna del hospital nacional Dos de Mayo Lima 2022. La técnica de recolección de datos a utilizar será la encuesta y se aplicaran 2 instrumentos validados para recolectar la información que dará respuesta a las hipótesis planteadas, se harán mediciones cuantitativas y análisis estadísticos para determinar las predicciones de los problemas planteados. Durante todo el estudio se mantendrá una conducta de investigación apegada a los principios éticos.
