Biosociocultural factors and level of knowledge about neonatal jaundice in mothers attending the Essalud Hospital in Tarapoto, 2021

Abstract

This research will be carried out in the neonatology nursing field and its development will focus on the biosociocultural factors and the knowledge of jaundice that mothers of neonates have, considering the important role they play in preventing neonates from being affected by this physiological phenomenon that It can appear if the necessary care is not taken, putting your health and even life at risk. OBJECTIVE: to determine the relationship between biosociocultural factors associated with the knowledge that mothers have about neonatal jaundice at the Essalud Hospital of Tarapoto, 2021. MATERIALS AND METHODS: it will be quantitative, basic, descriptive and correlational, not cross-sectional experimental. The sample will be 40 mothers of newborns who have jaundice. The technique will be the survey and the instruments will be a sheet of biosociocultural factors and a questionnaire on knowledge of jaundice.

Esta investigación se realizará en el campo enfermero de neonatología y su desarrollo se enfocará en los factores biosocioculturales y el conocimiento de ictericia que poseen las madres de neonatos, considerando el importante rol que cumplen para evitar que los neonatos se vean afectados por este fenómeno fisiológico que puede aparecer si no se tienen los cuidados necesarios, poniendo en riesgo su salud e incluso la vida. OBJETIVO: determinar cuál es la relación entre factores biosocioculturales asociados al conocimiento que tienen las madres sobre ictericia neonatal en el Hospital Essalud de Tarapoto, 2021. MATERIALES Y MÉTODOS: será cuantitativa, básica, descriptiva y correlacional, no experimental transversal. La muestra será de 40 madres de neonatos que presentan cuadros de ictericia. La técnica será la encuesta y los instrumentos serán una ficha de factores biosocioculturales y un cuestionario sobre conocimientos de ictericia.
