Level of information on surgical treatment and anxiety levels in preoperative patients at the surgery department of San José de Chincha Hospital – 2021

Abstract

This research aims to propose the relationship between the Level of Information about surgical treatment and the degree of Anxiety in the Preoperative Patient of the Surgery Service, of the San José de Chincha Hospital, during the months of August - October 2021. Whose research project will focus the study on essential concepts such as: level of information about surgical treatment and anxiety, which will be applied research type, with a quantitative approach, descriptive, correlational design and a cross-sectional study. And 80 hospitalized patients from the Surgery area of ​​the San José de Chincha Hospital during the months of August to October 2021 will be the population and sample. The instrument will be through the survey, to collect observations of both variables. To measure the level of information about the surgical treatment, the questionnaire authored by Rebaza R (1998) will be used, said instrument consisting of 08 items in 4 dimensions. In order to assess the level of anxiety in the pre-surgical patient, the instrument State Anxiety Inventory (Idare-i) for the pre-operative patient created by Spielberger (1975) will be used, which is made up of 20 items.

Esta investigación, tiene el objetivo de plantear la relación entre el Nivel de Información sobre el tratamiento quirúrgico y grado de Ansiedad en el Paciente Preoperatorio del Servicio de Cirugía, del Hospital San José de Chincha, durante los meses de Agosto – octubre 2021 Cuyo proyecto de investigación, enfocará el estudio en conceptos esenciales tales como: nivel de información sobre el tratamiento quirúrgico y la ansiedad, del cual será de tipo de investigación aplicada, con enfoque cuantitativo, de diseño descriptivo, correlacional y un corte transversal. Y 80 pacientes hospitalizados del área de Cirugía del Hospital San José de Chincha durante los meses de agosto a octubre del 2021 será la población y muestra. Como instrumento será mediante la encuesta, para la recolección de las observaciones de ambas variables. Para realizar la medición de nivel de información sobre el tratamiento quirúrgico, se utilizará el cuestionario cuyo autor es Rebaza R (1998), dicho instrumento conformado por 08 ítems en 4 dimensiones. Para poder valorar el nivel de ansiedad en el paciente prequirúrgico se empleará el instrumento Inventario de ansiedad-estado (Idare-i) para el paciente preoperatorio creado Spielberger (1975) que está conformado por 20 items
