Socioeconomic factors and their relationship with the level of knowledge about the immunization schedule for children under 5 years of age in mothers who care for their children in the c.s. Peru 4th Zone, Lima- 2022.

Abstract

Objective: To determine the relationship between socioeconomic factors and the level of knowledge about the immunization schedule for children under 5 years of age in mothers who care for their children in the C.S. Perú 4th zone, 2022.

Materials and methods: An observational, descriptive, cross-sectional and prospective study was carried out. The sample consisted of 122 mothers who were selected through systematic random probabilistic sampling. The CIM5 questionnaire, previously validated, was used as an instrument; the statistical analysis was univariate, descriptively analyzing the characteristics of the variable, as well as the absolute and relative frequencies and measures of central tendency. A bivariate analysis was also carried out using Pearson's Chi2 statistical test to relate the study variables. A statistically significant result was considered when considering a p-value less than 0.05.

Objetivo: Determinar cuál es la relación entre los factores socioeconómicos y el nivel de conocimiento sobre el esquema de inmunizaciones de menores de 5 años en madres que atienden a sus hijos en el C.S. Perú 4ta zona, 2022. Materiales y métodos: Se realizó un estudio de tipo observacional, descriptivo, transversal y prospectivo. la muestra estuvo conformada por 122 madres que fueron seleccionados a través de un muestreo probabilístico aleatorio sistemático. Se empleó como instrumento el cuestionario CIM5, validado previamente; el análisis estadístico fue de tipo univariado, analizando de forma descriptiva las características de la variable, así como las frecuencias absolutas, relativas y medidas de tendencia central, también se realizó un análisis bivariado utilizando la prueba estadística de Chi2 de Pearson para relacionar las variables de estudio, se consideró un resultado estadísticamente significativo al considerar un p-valor menor a 0,05.
