The Rh and Kell system antigens are proteins with high immunological potency, causing an immune response in individuals who do not possess them. The phenotyping of these antigens reduces the risk of potential adverse reactions and alloimmunization that recipients may experience.

Los antígenos del sistema Rh y Kell son proteínas que presentan un alto poder inmunológico, provocando una respuesta inmunológica en los individuos que no lo poseen. La fenotipificación de estos antígenos disminuye el riesgo de posibles reacciones adversas y aloinmunizaciones que puedan presentar los receptores.
