Job satisfaction and patient safety in nurses at the surgical center, Huancavelica Departmental Hospital, 2022

Abstract

The research on the relationship between job satisfaction and patient safety in nurses at the surgical center, departmental hospital of Huancavelica, 2022, the research will be developed taking into account the hypothetical deductive method, quantitative approach, applied type, non-experimental, correlational and transversal design . The sample will be 32 nurses who work in the surgical center, and two instruments will be applied, a questionnaire on job satisfaction and an observation guide on patient safety. As a result, the variable job satisfaction will be measured taking into account the rating scale of satisfied (66-90), neither satisfied/not dissatisfied (42-65) and dissatisfied (18-41); Likewise, the patient safety variable will be measured taking into account the assessment scale of Adequate level (16 – 30) and inadequate level (0 – 15). In conclusion, it will be determined if there is a relationship between both variables, that is, a satisfied staff will provide an adequate level of safety to the patient.

La investigación sobre la relación entre satisfacción laboral y seguridad del paciente en enfermeras del centro quirúrgico, hospital departamental de Huancavelica, 2022, se investigación se desarrollará tomando en referencia el método hipotético deductivo, enfoque cuantitativo, tipo aplicado, diseño no experimental, correlacional y transversal. La muestra será de 32 enfermeras que trabajan en el centro quirúrgico, y se aplicará dos instrumentos, un cuestionario sobre satisfacción laboral y una guía de observación sobre la seguridad del paciente. Como resultado, se medirá la variable satisfacción laboral tomando en cuenta la escala valorativa de satisfecho (66-90), ni satisfecho/ni insatisfecho (42-65) e insatisfecho (18-41); así también la variable seguridad del paciente se medirá tomando en cuenta la escala valorativa de Nivel adecuado (16 – 30) y nivel inadecuado (0 – 15). En conclusión, se determinará si existe relación entre ambas variables, es decir, un personal satisfecho brindará un nivel adecuado de seguridad al paciente.
