Relationship between culture of patient safety and functionality of the use of indicators in nurses of the Chancay hospital, 2023

Abstract

Objective: To determine the relationship between the culture of patient safety and the functionality of the use of indicators in nurses. The sample will be made up of 90 nurses, which are the total number of nurses who work in the recuperative areas. Methods: The research method will be the hypothetical deductive method, quantitative approach, the type of research is applied and non-experimental, observational, descriptive, correlational, and cross-sectional design. Instruments: to use the patient safety culture variable, the Patient Safety Culture Questionnaire was used, validated and adapted by Alvarado Gallardo Connie in Lima, Peru in 2014 using Cronbach's Alpha of 0.66 and to evaluate the "Functionality" variable. For the use of indicators, the instrument of the same name will be used, which for its construction takes Mejía, Ana (2020) as sources. Villajuana, Carlos (2007). Rampersad, Hubert (2005) who with Cronbach's Alpha scale obtained a result of 0.976. The data collection technique will be the survey. Statistical processing and data analysis: To calculate results and test the hypothesis, the statistic for the correlation of variables will be used: Spearman's Rho or Pearson's R.

Determinar la relación existente entre cultura de seguridad de pacientes y funcionalidad del uso de indicadores en enfermeros. La muestra estará constituida por 90 enfermeros que son el total de enfermeros que laboran en las áreas recuperativas. Diseño Metodológico: El método de investigación será el método hipotético deductivo, enfoque cuantitativo, el tipo de investigación es aplicada y diseño no experimental, observacional, descriptivo, correlacional, y transversal. Instrumentos: para utilizar la variable cultura de seguridad de pacientes se usará el Cuestionario de cultura de seguridad en el paciente, validado y adaptado por Alvarado Gallardo Connie en Lima Perú en el año 2014 mediante Alpha de Crombach de 0.66 y para evaluar la variable “Funcionalidad del uso de indicadores se utilizará el instrumento del mismo nombre que para su construcción tomo como fuentes a Mejía, Ana (2020). Villajuana, Carlos (2007). Rampersad, Hubert (2005) que con escala de Alfa de Cronbach obtuvo un resultado de 0,976. La técnica de recolección de datos será la encuesta. Procesamiento estadístico y análisis de datos: Para calcular resultados y probar la hipótesis se utilizará el estadístico para la correlación de variables: Rho de Spearman o R de Pearson.
