Knowledge and management of oxygen therapy by the nursing professional in the evolution of patients with respiratory failure - emergency department of a hospital in Callao- 2022

Abstract

Objective: Determine the relationship that exists between the knowledge and management of oxygen therapy by nursing in the evolution of patients with respiratory failure in the Emergency Service of a hospital in Callao, 2022. Methods: The study will be hypothetical-deductive, quantitative, applied , non-experimental, correlational and transversal. The population and sample consisted of 80 nursing professionals, with non-probabilistic sampling for convenience. For the processing and analysis of the survey data, first the information collected will be organized, then coding will be carried out, once the data has been collected, the data will be organized according to its study variables, the data will be processed using the Microsoft Excel 2021 program and SPSS version 26.0 to generate tables and/or graphs by dimensions and indicators of the study variables; also, to determine the relationship with the Spearman Correlation Test (Rho).

Objetivo: Determinar la relación que existe entre el conocimiento y manejo de la oxigenoterapia por enfermería en la evolución de los pacientes con insuficiencia respiratoria del Servicio de Emergencia de un hospital del Callao, 2022. Métodos: El estudio será hipotético-deductivo, cuantitativo, aplicado, no experimental, correlacional y transversal. La población y muestra conformada por 80 profesionales de enfermería, siendo el muestreo no probabilístico por conveniencia. Para el procesamiento y análisis de los datos de la encuesta, primero se ordenará la información recolectada, luego se llevará a cabo la codificación, una vez recolectados los datos se organizará los datos de acuerdo a sus variables de estudio, los datos se procesaran utilizando el programa Microsoft Excel 2021 y el SPSS versión 26.0 para generar tablas y/o gráficos por dimensiones e indicadores de las variables del estudio; asimismo, para determinar la relación con la Prueba de Correlación de Spearman (Rho).
