Resumen
Objective: Determine the factors associated with postoperative complications in patients operated on in the Thorax and Cardiovascular Surgery Service, Hospital Nacional Hipólito Unanue 2021. Methodology: Cross-sectional and correlational study. The population made up of patients scheduled for the specialty of chest and cardiovascular surgery, being 68 patients, the sample will be non-probabilistic, therefore, no sample size was calculated. Data collection techniques and instruments: The survey technique will be used for the two variables under study, postoperative complications and personal and institutional factors; The instruments for the case of the two variables will be the questionnaire; which are data that will be collected from medical records, postoperative monitoring sheets, operative report and anesthesia sheets. Procedures: The information collection process will take place in three months. Once the information is collected through the application of the instrument, the information will be entered into a database in the statistical program SPSS Version 23. Statistical Analysis: Where applicable Descriptive analysis will use means, proportions, percentages and frequency tables and graphs; To verify the formulated hypothesis and establish the strength of statistical association of the variables under study, the Chi square test will be used, accepting values p < 0.05 as significant.
Resumen
Objetivo: Determinar los factores asociados a las complicaciones postoperatorias en pacientes intervenidos en el Servicio de Cirugía de Tórax y Cardiovascular, Hospital Nacional Hipólito Unanue 2021. Metodología: Estudio de corte transversal y correlacional. La población conformada por los pacientes programados de la especialidad de cirugía de tórax y cardiovascular, siendo 68 pacientes, la muestra será no probabilístico por tanto, no se calculó tamaño muestral. Técnicas e Instrumentos de recolección de datos: Se utilizará la técnica de la encuesta para las dos variables en estudio, complicaciones postoperatorias y factores personales e institucionales; los instrumentos para el caso de las dos variables será el cuestionario; que son datos que se recolectara de las historias clínicas, hojas de monitoreo postoperatorios, reporte operatorio y hojas de anestesia. Procedimientos: El proceso de la colecta de información se dará en tres meses, una vez recolectada la información mediante la aplicación del instrumento, se ingresará la información a una base de datos en el programa estadístico SPSS Versión 23. Análisis Estadístico: En lo que corresponde al análisis descriptivo se utilizará medias, proporciones, porcentajes y tablas de frecuencias y gráficos; para la verificación de la hipótesis formulada y establecer la fuerza de asociación estadística de las variables en estudio, se utilizará la prueba de Chi cuadrada, aceptándose como significativo valores p< 0,05.
