Self-care and adherence to treatment in patients with hypertensive crisis in the emergency service of a public hospital Barranca, 2023

Abstract

Objectives: Determine the relationship between treatment adherence and self-care in patients with hypertensive crisis in the emergency service of public Hospital Barranca ,2023. Methodology: it is a study with a quantitative approach, non-experimental design, descriptive correlational, in a sample. of 86 patients with hypertensive crisis who were admitted to the emergency service during the estimated study period, the data collection method will be the survey, and the instruments will be: the Achury Self-Care Agency Questionnaire, and the treatment adherence questionnaire. developed by Bonilla and De reales, instruments that have been applied in different studies, the data processing will be developed after coding in SPSS-V25, the analysis will be descriptive using measures of central tendency and the inferential analysis will be in two moments, First, the normality test using the Kolmogorov-Smirnov test, a calculation that allows us to establish whether the data follow a normal distribution, the second moment will be at the time of the hypothesis test, following the normality patterns.

Objetivos: Determinar la relación que existe entre el autocuidado y la adherencia al tratamiento en pacientes con crisis hipertensiva en el servicio de Emergencias de un hospital público Barranca, 2023. Metodología: se trata de un estudio de enfoque cuantitativo, diseño no experimental, correlacional, descriptivo, en una muestra de 86 pacientes con crisis hipertensiva que ingresaron al servicio de emergencia durante el periodo de estudio estimado, el método de recolección de datos será la encuesta, los Intrumentos serán: El Cuestionario de agencia de autocuidado de Achury et al. En el año 2009 y está conformado por 17 items , y el cuestionario de Adherencia al tratamiento desarrollado por Bonilla y De reales en 2006, instrumentos que han sido aplicado en diferentes estudios, el procesamiento de datos se desarrollará previa codificación en el SPSS-V25, el análisis será descriptivo usando las medidas de tendencia central y el análisis inferencial será en dos momentos, primero la prueba de normalidad usando la prueba de Kolmogórov-Smirnov, calculo que permite establecer si los datos siguen una distribución normal, el segundo momento será al momento de la prueba de hipótesis, siguiendo los patrones de normalidad.
