Family functionality and resilience in adolescents from the Casa Huertas Human Settlement, Lima 2023

Abstract

Introduction: In times of uncertainty and adversity, the functioning of the family and its ability to adapt as a group to the changes required by the current context, has become relevant for individual and family health. Objective: Determine how family functionality and resilience in adolescents from the Casa Huertas Human Settlement, Lima 2023. Method: The sample is made up of 155 adolescents. Regarding methodology, it is a correlational and cross-sectional study. The survey technique will be applied and to quantify the variables, two questionnaires of "Family functionality" and "Resilience in adolescents" will be used. The collected data will be analyzed using the SPSS 26 statistical program, finally to verify the initially indicated hypotheses, the Spearman's Rho test will be used, which will corroborate the relationship of the main variables.

En tiempos de incertidumbre y adversidad, el funcionamiento de la familia y su capacidad para adaptarse como grupo a los cambios que exige el contexto actual, viene tomando relevancia para la salud individual y familiar. La muestra está conformada por 155 adolescentes. En cuanto a lo metodológico es un estudio correlacional y transversal. Sera aplicada la técnica de encuesta y para cuantificar las variables se utilizarán dos cuestionarios de “Funcionalidad familiar” y “Resiliencia en adolescente”. Los datos recolectados serán analizados mediante el programa estadístico SPSS 26, finalmente para verificar las hipótesis señaladas inicialmente, se hará uso de la prueba Rho de Spearman que corroborará la relación de las variables principales.
