Level of knowledge and practice on cardiopulmonary maneuver in the nursing professional of the emergency service of a national hospital, Lima 2023

Abstract

The objective of the research work is to determine how the level of knowledge and practice on cardiopulmonary maneuver is related in the nursing professional of the emergency service of a national hospital. This study will be quantitative, applied at a correlational level with a non-experimental design. With a sample that is proposed to 80 nursing workers in the emergency service, Technique and data collection instrument, the survey will be used as a technique and the instrument will be a questionnaire on knowledge and a CPR practice questionnaire, with a scale of dichotomous measurement. Procedures: the data will be collected after coordination with the institution within a certain time, with the corresponding informed consent, physically delivering the evaluation materials, maintaining distance and other biosafety protocols. The data obtained will be stored. Once the results are obtained, the results will be emptied into the matrix table so that they can then be presented in graphs and statistical tables. Matching will be carried out according to the item code according to its predictive value. Data processing will be carried out automatically, using a statistical program. The statistical significance test, Spearman correlation coefficient, will be used.

El trabajo de investigación tiene como objetivo determinar cómo se relaciona el nivel de conocimiento y práctica sobre maniobra cardiopulmonar en el profesional de enfermería del servicio de emergencia de un hospital nacional, este estudio será cuantitativo de tipo aplicada a nivel correlacional con un diseño no experimental, con una muestra que se plantea a 80 trabajadores de enfermería en el servicio de emergencia, Técnica e instrumento de recolección de datos, se empleará la encuesta como técnica y el instrumento será un cuestionario sobre conocimiento y un cuestionario de práctica de RCP, con escala de medición dicotómica. Procedimientos: los datos se recolectarán previa coordinación con la institución dentro de un tiempo determinado, con su correspondiente consentimiento informado, haciendo entrega de manera física los materiales de evaluación, manteniendo la distancia y demás protocolos de bioseguridad. Los datos obtenidos serán almacenados Una vez que se obtengan los resultados se vaciarán los resultados en la tabla matriz para luego se pueda proceder a presentarlos en gráficos y tablas estadísticas. Se realizará paloteo según el código de ítems de acuerdo su valor predictivo. El procesamiento de datos se realizará de manera automatizada, utilizando un programa estadístico. Se usará la prueba de significancia estadística, coeficiente correlacional de Spearman.
