Sociocultural factors and their relationship with the social recognition of nurses by hospitalized patients of the surgery service, Víctor Lazarte Echegaray hospital, ESSALUD, Trujillo

Abstract

Objective: To analyze the relationship between sociocultural factors and the social recognition of nurses by patients in the surgery service of the Víctor Lazarte Echegaray Essalud Hospital, Trujillo 2021. Material and Method: Descriptive-correlational and cross-sectional research design, as it studies the correlation between two variables to determine the degree of their relationship. It is descriptive because it measures or evaluates various aspects, dimensions, or components of the phenomenon(s) under investigation. It presents a quantitative approach, as it uses data collection to verify the hypothesis, based on statistical analysis and numerical measurement. The results obtained from this type of research are usually logical and impartial, and, above all, its measurement is subjected to criteria of reliability and validity. Furthermore, it has well-structured categories and responses that will explain the phenomenon to be studied, which are based on a theoretical foundation.

Objetivo: Analizar la relación de los factores socioculturales y el reconocimiento social enfermero por parte de los pacientes del servicio de cirugía del Hospital Víctor Lazarte Echegaray Essalud, Trujillo 2021. Material y método: Investigación de diseño descriptiva-correlacional y de corte transversal, porque estudia la correlación entre dos variables para saber del grado de relación de las mismas, es descriptiva porque medirá o evaluará diversos aspectos, dimensiones o componentes del fenómeno o fenómenos a investigar, presenta un enfoque cuantitativo, pues emplea el acopio de datos para realizar la verificación de la hipótesis, que tiene su base en el análisis estadístico y medición numérica. Los resultados que se obtienen con este tipo de investigación suelen ser lógicos e imparciales y sobre todo su medición es sometida a criterios de confiabilidad y validez, además cuenta con categorías y respuestas bien estructuradas que explicaran el fenómeno a estudiar, las cuales están basadas en una base teórica.
