Level of self-care and its relationship with satisfaction in patients undergoing permanent pacemaker in a national hospital

Abstract

The present investigation that has the name "LEVEL OF SATISFACTION AND SELFCARE IN PATIENTS SUBJECTED TO DEFINITIVE PACEMAKER IN A NATIONAL HOSPITAL - 2023", will have as its main objective, to define and express their level of satisfaction and self-care in those people who have undergone an invasive procedure for the placement of a permanent pacemaker in the Cardiology service, taking into account that the nurse is the main source of primary information, playing a fundamental role in the perioperative process during the placement of a permanent pacemaker. It is worth mentioning that the person expresses their satisfaction with the nursing care provided and likewise comes to know the techniques, practices and styles of self-care that the user must learn to manage for the well-being of their own health. This research will be of a quantitative - correlational, cross-sectional, non-experimental type, will have a population of 80 patients who underwent permanent pacemaker implant placement, who will meet the inclusion criteria, without specific distinction of race, ethnicity or sex. The survey technique will be used, as an instrument a validated questionnaire and as main tools we will use the Questionnaire on self-care of people with definitive pacemaker implantation and the User Satisfaction Scale with Nursing Care” (CECSS); the relationship of the variables will be measured with Spearman's correlation coefficient.

La presente investigación que tiene por nombre “NIVEL DE SATISFACCIÓN Y AUTOCUIDADO EN LOS PACIENTES SOMETIDOS A MARCAPASO DEFINITIVO EN UN HOSPITAL NACIONAL – 2023”, tendrá como objetivo principal, definir y expresar su nivel de satisfacción y autocuidado en aquellas personas que han sido sometidas a un procedimiento invasivo de colocación de marcapaso definitivo en el servicio de Cardiología, teniendo en cuenta que la enfermera es la principal fuente de información primaria, ejerciendo un rol fundamental en el proceso perioperatorio durante la colocación de marcapaso definitivo. Cabe mencionar que la persona manifiesta su satisfacción de la atención de enfermería brindada y así mismo, llega a conocer las técnicas, prácticas y estilos de autocuidado que el usuario debe aprender a manejar en bienestar de su propia salud. Esta investigación será de tipo cuantitativo – correlacional, de corte transversal, no experimental, tendrá como población 80 pacientes que fueron sometidos a colocación de implante de marcapaso definitivo, quienes cumplirán los criterios de inclusión, sin distinción especifica de raza, etnia o sexo. Se usará la técnica de la encuesta, como instrumento un cuestionario validado y como herramientas principales utilizaremos el Cuestionario sobre autocuidado de personas con implante de marcapaso definitiva y la Escala de Satisfacción de los Usuarios con los Cuidados Enfermeros
