Knowledge and application of the safe surgery checklist in surgical center nurses at the Arzobispo Loayza National Hospital

Abstract

Objective: Establish the relationship between knowledge and application of the safe surgery checklist in nursing at the surgical center of the Arzobispo Loayza National Hospital - 2021. Materials and methods: Quantitative approach, non-experimental, correlational and transversal design. The population will be represented by 60 nurses who work in the surgical center. The techniques used will be survey and observation. An observation guide and a questionnaire with acceptable validity and reliability criteria will be used as instruments. The questionnaire will consist of 10 questions organized in 3 dimensions, with a global score that ranges between 0 and 10 points, its final values ​​being: high, medium and low. The observation guide will consist of 19 statements organized in 3 dimensions, with a global score that ranges between 0 and 19 points, its final values ​​being: beginning, process and achievement.

Objetivo: Establecer la relación entre conocimiento y aplicación sobre lista de verificación de cirugía segura en enfermería del centro quirúrgico del Hospital Nacional Arzobispo Loayza – 2021. Materiales y métodos: Enfoque cuantitativo, diseño no experimental, correlacional y transversal. La población será representada por 60 enfermeras que trabajan en centro quirúrgico. Las técnicas usadas serán la encuesta y observación. Se utilizarán una guía de observación y un cuestionario con criterios de validez y confiabilidad aceptables como instrumentos. El cuestionario constará de 10 preguntas organizadas en 3 dimensiones, con una puntuación global que oscila entre 0 y 10 puntos, siendo sus valores finales: alto, medio y bajo. La guía de observación constará de 19 enunciados organizados en 3 dimensiones, con una puntuación global que oscila entre 0 y 19 puntos, siendo sus valores finales: inicio, proceso y logro.
