Knowledge of pressure injury prevention and preventive nursing practice in hospitalized patients in a national hospital, 2023

Abstract

This research aims to: Determine the relationship between knowledge of pressure injury prevention and preventive nursing practice in hospitalized patients in a national hospital, 2023. The methodology: we worked with a hypothetical deductive method, in addition the study will use a non-experimental design with a cross-sectional is applied and correlational, the population will be 180 nursing professionals from the emergency area and a sample of 123 people, the variables will be measured through a questionnaire for knowledge and a courtship list for the level of preventive practice of pressure injuries, validated and reliable instruments; The data collection will last 25 minutes for each member of the sample. After data collection the analysis will be through the Spss 25.0 program that will yield results in tables and figures, also for the verification of the hypothesis will be use of Spearman's Rho statistical test working with a margin of error less than 0.05.

Objetivo: Determinar la relación que existe entre el conocimiento de la prevención de lesiones por presión y la practica preventiva de enfermería en pacientes hospitalizados en un hospital nacional, 2023. La metodología: se trabajó con un método hipotético deductivo, además el estudio utilizara un diseño no experimental con un corte transversal es de tipo aplicada y correlacional, la población será 180 profesionales de enfermería del área de emergencia y una muestra de 123 personas, se medirá las variables a través de un cuestionario para el conocimiento y una lista de cortejo para el nivel de práctica preventiva de las lesiones por presión, instrumentos validados y confiables; la recolección de los datos tendrá una duración de 25 minutos esto por cada integrante de la muestra. Luego de la recolección de datos el análisis será a través del programa Spss 25.0 que arrojará resultados en tablas y figuras, asimismo para la comprobación de la hipótesis será uso de la prueba estadística Rho de Spearman trabajando con un margen de error menor al 0.05.
