Level of knowledge about methods of sterilization of surgical material and the practice of the nursing professional in a hospital, EsSalud, Ica, 2024

Abstract

The objective of this research will be to determine the level of knowledge about methods of sterilization of surgical material and the practice of the nursing professional in a hospital, EsSalud, Ica, 2024. Methodology: hypothetical-deductive method, type of applied research, designed nonexperimental mode, correlational leveling and transversally developed. Population: 80 nurses working in the Sterilization Center of the Ica Hospital. Sample: It was made up of 80 nursing professionals. The survey technique and instruments will be used: Knowledge of surgical material sterilization methods and observation sheet allowed the evaluation of the nurses' practice of surgical material sterilization methods. It was considered to use an Excel spreadsheet and SPSS statistical software to process the results obtained and Spearman's Rho statistic will be used to analyze the relationship between both study variables.

El objetivo de la presente investigación será Determinar el Nivel de conocimiento sobre métodos de esterilización de material quirúrgico y la práctica del profesional de enfermería de un hospital, Essalud, Ica, 2024. Metodología: método hipotético-deductivo, tipo de investigación aplicada, diseñada de modo no experimental, nivelación correlacional y desarrollada trasversalmente. Población: 80 enfermeras laborando en la Central de esterilización del Hospital de Ica. Muestra: Se conformó de 80 profesionales de enfermería. Se usará la técnica de la encuesta y los instrumentos: Conocimiento métodos de esterilización del material quirúrgico y Ficha de observación permitió la evaluación de la práctica de las enfermeras de los métodos de esterilización del material quirúrgico. Se consideró usar una hoja de cálculo Excel y el software estadístico SPSS, para procesar los resultados que se obtengan y se utilizará el estadístico Rho de Spearman para hacer el análisis de la relación entre ambas variables de estudio.
