Quality of care and satisfaction of mothers of newborns in the neonatology service of the Chincha hospital – Peru, 2023

Abstract

Stress is a problem that affects people in all stages of their lives, therefore, it is a problem present in all workplaces today. Stressful working conditions have been related to low productivity, absenteeism and increased accident rates inside and outside the workplace, which is an essential part of human life. General objective: To determine the relationship between work stress and the quality of life of the nursing professional in the Emergency Department of a National Hospital, Lima-2023. Materials and Methods: The research is a hypothetical-deductive method, quantitative approach, applied, non-experimental, cross-sectional and correlational. The population will consist of 80 participants from the nursing staff. Similarly, the two study variables will be measured using the survey technique and two questionnaires, respectively. The validation of both instruments is given by the work of Vásquez (2022). The reliability of the instruments will be assessed by means of Cronbach's Alpha coefficient; values ranging from 0.81 to 0.95 will be used in this assessment, which will guarantee the reliability of the instrument. The results of the data will be obtained through the application of statistical programs, using SPSS.25.0, after which the data analyzed will be presented in tables, diagrams and figures. Spearman's Rho will be used to statistically examine the relationship between the two variables.

Es completamente conocido, para medir el cuidado en las instituciones de salud, la satisfacción del usuario es la clave para medir la atención y al mismo tiempo precisar la posibilidad de perfeccionamiento que se presentan en los establecimientos de salud. Objetivo: “Determinar la relación que existe entre la calidad del cuidado y la satisfacción de las madres de los recién nacidos en el servicio de neonatología de un hospital de Chincha”. Metodología: Hipotético deductivo, enfoque cuantitativo, aplicada, no experimental correlacional, corte transversal; unidad de análisis colaboraran 108 puérperas. Como técnica usaré la encuesta donde utilizaremos dos instrumento uno para cada variable: Variable calidad del cuidado usaré la herramienta elaborada por bachilleres Ana María Coronado Chaname y Karen Judith Vázquez Santiesteban, en Chiclayo 2018; así mismo la segunda variable satisfacción de las madres el instrumento que usaremos fue utilizado por la Licenciada en enfermería Rocío Yesenia Quito Vargas, Lima, año 2022, donde fueron validos a través de Jueces de expertos y el resultado de confiabilidad tuvo un alfa de Cronbach de 0.7689, la cual fue considerada como aprobada. El proceso de datos se realizará mediante el software estadístico SPSS versión 25.0 y su correlación de ambas variables lo realizaremos mediante Spearman.
