Abstract

The present research will provide new knowledge and scope for the professional who provides services in the emergency area with the purpose of proposing strategic activities that require permanent awareness of the purpose of the responsibility of providing a favorable attitude in patient care. terminal and his imminent death. In the emergency hospital of Villa El Salvador, nursing professionals are faced with assisting patients in critical states, where they are often able to save their lives or recover them, however, they perceive the patient's death as something routine, unforeseen, and untimely. for not being able to save him in time. Since despite the effort deployed, this effort is cut short when death occurs.

La presente investigación permitirá proveer nuevos conocimientos y alcances para el profesional que presta servicios en el área de emergencias con la finalidad que puedan plantear actividades estratégicas que exijan una permanente toma de conciencia del propósito ante la responsabilidad de otorgar una actitud favorable en la atención del paciente terminal y su inminente deceso. En el nosocomio de emergencia de Villa El Salvador, los profesionales de enfermería se enfrentan a asistir pacientes en estados críticos, donde muchas veces se logra salvarles la vida o recuperarlos, sin embargo, perciben la muerte del paciente como algo rutinario, imprevisto, e intempestivo por no poder salvarlo a tiempo. Ya que pese al esfuerzo desplegado este esfuerzo se ve trunco al presentarse la muerte.
