Knowledge about self-care and quality of life of the patient with ileostomy in the surgery service, of the regional hospital Hermilio Valdizan Medrano- Huánuco - 2022

Abstract

The present research study aims to determine the relationship between knowledge about self-care and the quality of life of patients with ileostomy in the surgery service of the Hermilio Valdizan Medrano- Huanuco Regional Hospital - 2022. Materials and methods; This study adopts deductive and observational research methods. We will work with a population made up of 60 patients with ileostomy from the surgical hospitalization area of the Hermilio Valdizan Medrano- Huanuco Hospital during the first half of 2022, two instruments will be used: a self-care knowledge questionnaire with 19 dichotomous questions. As a second instrument, a questionnaire to measure the quality of life composed of 23 items, framed in the Likert Scale. These instruments were validated by their authors. The data process plans will be entered into the Microsoft Excel program, they will be analyzed using IBM, to later graph tables and graphs. Applying a descriptive analysis and then an inferential analysis with Chip Square hypothesis testing

El presente estudio de investigación tiene por objetivo Determinar la relación entre el conocimiento sobre autocuidado con la calidad de vida del paciente con ileostomía en el servicio de cirugía, del Hospital Regional Hermilio Valdizan Medrano- Huanuco – 2022.Materiales y métodos; este estudio adopta métodos de investigación deductivos y observacionales. Trabajaremos con una población conformada por 60 pacientes con ileostomía del área de hospitalización quirúrgica del Hospital Hermilio Valdizan Medrano- Huanuco durante el primer semestre del año 2022, se utilizarán dos instrumentos: cuestionario de conocimientos sobre autocuidado de 19 preguntas dicotómicas. Como segundo instrumento un cuestionario para medir la calidad de vida compuesta por 23 ítems, enmarcada en la Escala de Likert. Estos instrumentos fueron validados por sus autores. Los planes de procesos de datos serán ingresados en el programa Microsoft Excel, se analizarán mediante IBM, para posterior mente graficar tablas y gráficos.
