Effectiveness of an educational nursing intervention in the level of knowledge about arterial hypertension in users of the first level of care

Abstract

This thesis, titled "effectiveness of an educational nursing intervetion in the level of knowledge about arterial hypertension in first level care users, aims to determine the effectiveness of the educational nursing intervention in the level of knowledge about arterial hypertension in first level care users. This work is hypothetical- deductive. Explanatory type, quantitative approach, preexperimental design, non-probabilistic snowball sampling. It will have a population of 100 patients from the cardiology outpatient clinic, at the first level of care. The technique used will be the survey, and it will be carried out by means of a questionnaire (instrument), which consists of 20 questions on generalities of arterial hypertension (1,2,3,4), non-pharmacological treatment (5,6,7,8,9 ,10,11,12,13) and pharmacological treatment (14,15,16,17,18,19,20). The instrument was adapted by Jadira Aldaba Salas to a colloquial language to be more understandable for the target population on May 8, 2018, Peru. The statistical analysis will be carried out using SPSS version 26 statistical software as well as the Excel program, whose results will comprise two stages: descriptive analysis and inferential analysis, which will be summarized in tables and figures.

El presente proyecto, titulado efectividad de una intervención educativa de enfermería en el nivel de conocimientos sobre hipertensión arterial en usuarios del primer nivel de atención, tiene como objetivo determinar la efectividad de una intervención educativa de enfermería en el nivel de conocimientos sobre hipertensión arterial en el primer nivel de atención. El presente trabajo es hipotético – deductivo. Tipo explicativo, de enfoque cuantitativo, de diseño pre – experimental, muestreo no probabilístico tipo bola de nieve. Contará con una población de 100 pacientes de la consulta externa de cardiología, del primer nivel de atención. La técnica utilizada será la encuesta, y se realizará mediante un cuestionario (instrumento), que consta de 20 preguntas sobre generalidades de hipertensión arterial (1,2,3,4), tratamiento no farmacológico (5,6,7,8,9,10,11,12,13) y tratamiento farmacológico (14,15,16,17,18,19,20). El instrumento fue adaptado por Jadira Aldaba Salas a un lenguaje coloquial para ser más entendible para la población objetiva el 08 de mayo del 2018, Perú. El análisis estadístico se realizará con el uso software estadístico SPSS versión 26 así como el programa Excel, cuyos resultados comprenderán dos etapas: el análisis descriptivo y el análisis inferencial, los mismos que serán resumidos en tablas y figuras.
